Salary: 25k to 30k basic + benefitsCONTRACTS ENGINEEROur client design, install and service industrial pumping systems. This well established and successful group, as aresult of their continued growth, are looking to recruit a Contracts Engineer who will report to the Contracts Director.The successful candidate will be a member of the office based contracts team and be responsible for the instigation ofnew contracts, liaison with customers and the co-ordination of resources to ensure the effective and efficient managementof projects at sites nationwide.Essential Skills and Experience- You will need to have experience of managing technical staff and negotiating with sub contractors.- Hands on engineer with a strong elec/mech aptitude.- The role also requires that you are an excellent motivator with good communication and interpersonal skills.- Experience of the pumping industry, water/waste water or sewage plants would be a distinct advantage.- Applicants must be computer literate with experience of Windows, Word and Excel. Knowledge of CAD work would be anadvantage. Driving licence necessary.This role is well suited to a service / installation engineer or a service supervisor who has managed teams and islooking to progress to a commercially focused office based role.
