Description:

An urgent contract position for a senior embedded software engineer has arisen to port an existing WiFi driver solution to run on their selected RTOS. Other responsibilities include integrating the driver with a TCP/IP stack, demonstrating the complete system and working in collaboration with the rest of the development team to integrate the completed communications platform with the rest of the system.Candidates will be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:-Good C / C++ and programming in the Windows environment (using Visual Studio)-5 plus years experience of developing and testing software for real time embedded systems.-Development of WiFi device drivers (ideally embedded)-Experience of implementing software using an RTOS such as VxWorks, Nucleus, etc. -Communications protocols and serial interfaces, to include the TCP/IP, AT command protocol and RS-232 comms.
