Commercial / General Manager - Environmental Analysis, Ref: 12712Our Client is a major environmental consultancy with a busy environmental analysis laboratory based in the Midlands.They are seeking a Commercial/General Manager to take on overall management of the laboratory and to develop newcommercial ties with third parties for contract analytical services. The role will have responsibility for a high samplethroughput laboratory focussed on soils and ground water analysis, with circa 30 staff, together with a need to trebleturnover in the next 5 years.The successful candidate will be a proven man-manager with a track record of successful business development inbusiness-to-business technical services. Of graduate calibre you should have a chemical or environmental sciencesbackground, and have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, combined with commercial flair. A background incontract environmental analysis would be a distinct advantage.On offer is a generous negotiable salary package with benefits. Circa GBP 35,000 pa. Plus benefits.
