Purpose of the job:Engage our FMCG clients more completely and more profitably with their customers & help them grow.Principal responsibilities-1. Building Client Relationships & Growing Business by:- Supporting the Account Director in developing detailed Client plans and implementing them- Developing strong relationships with key Client personnel and developing good detailed understandings of clientorganisations and their objectives- Identifying business opportunities by matching the clients products/services to client needs and ensuring customerexpectations are met and or exceeded- Working closely with the team to identify and provide most appropriate analysis tools, reports & bespoke services tohelp them grow their business- Maximising use of Media within Client portfolio by developing integrated Client media plans with their clients team andBrands- Working closely with Category/Insight/Market Research/Customer Marketing & Consumer Brand teams to ensure widestpossible use of loyalty schemes and opportunities to develop direct to consumer communication programmes2.Coaching & Knowledge transference by:- Providing support and coaching to Client Executive(s) in the team, particularly on the clients processes &methodologies and the products & services- Spreading knowledge of the Client portfolio within the company as well as maintaining accurate knowledge of the Client,the Client contacts, and the work we have done for the Client3. Delivery/Project Management:- To Project Manage all bar the major Analysis & Insight and DM projects in the client base to ensure projects deliveredare on time and exceed client expectations- To work with other teams to ensure appropriate solutions are used for each project- To develop Media plans for all clients which incorporate all the different Media mechanics across the clients brandportfolio and which fit the brands objectives- To collect feedback on each project to ensure reviews can deliver meaningful measurement of client satisfaction- Ensure all processes are being followed and time, expenses, proposal & pipeline management, revenue management &billing and payment chasing are completed on time and within guidelines.Education/Professional Qualifications:- graduate calibre required with a minimum 2:2 degree preferablyEssential work experience:- Minimum of 2 yrs commercial experience in either a sales, marketing or buying role.Desirable work experience:- FMCG and /or grocery/retail background with exposure to sales- Exposure/experience with using EPOS and/or consumer data and are familiar with these data sources.Skills / Personal Qualifications:Intellectual -- Must have a strong intellect with the capacity to understand data, data analysis and data interpretation methodologiesbut be able to communicate it simply- A realistic and effective planner.Communication-- An excellent communicator able to network, build relationships, sell ideas and solutions- Will be outgoing articulate and literate, presenting him/herself as a professional at all times.Motivation-- Must be self-motivated and disciplined and able to work on own initiative. Pro-active, innovative and creative, canlead when required, doesnt give up and will set challenging goals.Culture Fit/ Team player -- Will be committed to the achievement of excellence- Will be used to a fast moving, dynamic and constantly evolving environment- Does not need to be supported by a sophisticated (and expensive) corporate infrastructure- Can work to individual and team targets and will work with others effectively.Self Starter -- A confident , self assured self starter excellent at communication presentation.
