About the role- Overall Job Role:Satisfy Pool and Supplier requirements for accuracy of data and service within Service.Level Agreements, Pool Agreed Procedures and Service Lines.3. - Primary Purpose:Provide clerical support for your section in meeting the timescales and target.4. - Principal Tasks:To provide clerical support with a high standard of computer skills and for all activitiesincluding, Email, fax, correspondence, phone, filing and any other routine workactivities.Adhere to all written procedures including local working practices, Company directives,Metering Services Health and Safety policy and information in the Employee Handbook.Always maintain a professional manner, on the phone, in correspondence and wheninteracting not only with customers but also with colleagues.Maintain office databases and throughput of work accurately and thoroughly to coveredstandards or to specific instructions to meet daily deadlines.Refer any non-standard situations or problems immediately to your supervisor ormanager.5. - Resource Control:Computer(s)- Phone - Fax - Filing systems - Databases - Customer filesWho we're looking for6. - Qualification, Knowledge & Work Related Skills:- English and maths to GCSE qualification minimum grade C or equivalent - Desirable.- PC literate.- Accurate key board skills.- Software competency - Word and Excel are a must.- Ability to handle multiple task.- Flexible approach to task.- Able to work to timescales and target dates.- Good telephone manner.- Customer liaison skills.- Understand business needs.7. - Health and Safety, and Quality:- General safety awareness.- Adapts willingly to changes in working practices.- Adheres to local working practises and procedures.8.- Special Aptitudes & Personal Qualities:- Able to work with limited supervision.- Communicate effectively.- Able to respond to change.- Willingness to learn and develop.- Team player.- Inclined to strive for continuous improvement.Must be organised and Efficient.Salary, benefits and trainingTemp to permLocation: TiptonStart date: 2/11/2005
