Description:

We are keen to locate a CHIP and pin expert with a broad understanding of banking and retail applications.You will be an "expert" on EFT and EMV (Chip & PIN) hardware and software applications.* Support the Approvals Manager as the central resources and sources of information/expertise on these products.* Take EFT and EMV solutions (incorporated in our customers EPOS applications through statutory, Card acquirer,Card-scheme, bank and other approvals process, as required.)* Provide full support to sales, technical staff, project management and customers as required.Essential Qualifications/Experience:* Graduate or equivalent caliber, numerate and IT literate, experience of Microsoft Windows Product Suites.* In depth knowledge of both hardware and software EFT and EMV solutions, etc.* Retail sector knowledge of payment applications and operations.* Responsible for advising and supporting sales on projects ranging in size from a few hundred to millions of poundssterling in value - impact on business very high.Desirable Qualifications/Experience:* Project management experience.* Experience in systems analysis, formal applications design, development and testing methodologies.* ATM Bank system experience, particularly payment systems.* EPOS Experience.Salary: GBP 23K-GBP 25K pa, + Laptop, Mobile phone, Private Medical Insurance, Pension, Life Assurance, Permanent HealthInsurance, 25 days holiday, ongoing training, and career development.
