Description:

The applicant must have as a minimum a HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. The ability to show a high degree ofinitiative is required. An appreciation of the principles of Lean Manufacturing.An understanding of PCs and work scheduling systems (MRP) is essential, and knowledge of Work Study techniques isdesirable. Previous experience in estimating and project management and will have a good understanding of bothmanufacturing and assembly techniques. Ideally, candidates should have a proven track record in successfully managing asmall team of engineers. They must be able to instigate method and cost improvements through improved processes, and becapable of producing technical reports including Capital Investment Proposals.
