: Opportunities have arisen with a leading designer and manufacturer of Cable & Pipe Handling equipment whose services include rental of cable tensioners and the supervision of Cable Laying operations. They are now looking for Senior Mechanical Design Engineers to join their team at Chief/Senior Engineer. Your role will be to provide design engineering services in mechanical/structural areas of equipment design. You will be working as part of a small engineering design team. Tasks will involve conceptual design, systems design, design supervision, checking and reviewing and both project and proposal related assignments. Educated to HNC/Degree level in Mechanical Engineering with 10 years equipment design related experience, you will have 2-3 years minimum at a senior level. Fluent knowledge in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel together with Mathcad and Cosmos/M would be beneficial. Comprehensive knowledge of Finite Element analysis is essential.
