The Company is the industry leader in the field of underground utility mapping. Using the latest geophysical and cablelocation technologies they create digital maps of sub-surface environments. These maps are often required in an enhancedformat; in full 3d and/or with a fully dynamic attached GIS database. They urgently require a CAD Supervisor toco-ordinate & manage CAD related activities. reporting directly to the Projects Manager, duties will include: Assistingthe Projects Manager as required. Direct liaison with clients regarding CAD or Database issues. Supporting field teamswith project data as required. Microstation and AutoCAD (Mostly the latter) drawing and checking. Database creation andmaintenance. Organising of the CAD department. Maintaining project deadlines and output. Documenting andmaintaining our CAD standards. Required skills: Bently Microstation CAD experience. AutoCAD experience. CAD related GISdatabase experience. MS Office. Desirable skills: Geophysical data analysis experience namely -Ground Probing Radar orSeismic. Topographical Survey Data Processing Experience. General IT hardware and software skills. Visual BasicProgramming capability. Lisp or ARX programming capability. Organisational and Project Management experience.
