Description:

: C/C++ Software Development Engineer to join the development team of a global leader in access infrastructure softwaresolutions. You must have a 1st/2.1 in computer science; 2+ years in commercial software development in C/C++ for WIN32API; a knowledge of Java or V++; and skills in OOD and OOP. A background in some of W2000 and W2003, WTS, Internettechnologies (servers, routers, firewalls, T+CP/IP, Http), MFC/ATL, .Net Winforms, MSI Installer, COM, DCOM or Active Xis preferred. You will help specify, design and implement the next generation of technologies and solutions including newfeatures to existing products as well as integration with 3rd party technologies such as authentication systems. You willbe involved across the development cycle; requirements analysis, writing functional specs, writing design specs,implementation and coding, unit test specification and testing - all working within formal processes. You may from timeto time also be working on 3rd level product support and maintenance issues and providing technical advice to supportorganisations, customers and partners. Salary will be in the range GBP 28-32K with benefits.
