Buyers are required for our global Engineering Client, as a pivotal member of their Procurement team. The ideal candidatewill be an experience industrial buyer who will have experience of Bill of Materials- machined components and/orcomponent manufacturing; Scheduling and purchasing systems; Managing a small sub-contractor network; Critical PathPlanning; Understanding manufacturing drawings; Contract terms and conditions.The succesfull candidates will be self motivated, energetic and communicative to maintain the momentum and continue toachieve the metrics this growing business demands. You will be responsible for the purchasing of materials, componentsand outsourced processing. You will need to plan the efficient throughput of parts during the manufacturing process andpersoinally manage suppliers to ensure quality, value and delivery are optimised for the items you are buying.The salary, benefits, training and development for this role are as expected for a major international group, and theprospects going forward for further career advancement are very real for the right candidate.
