Description:

Objective:Responsible for the maintenance and development of one or more customer accounts. Responsible for customer satisfactionand the account's profitability and minimisation of commercial risk. To interface with customer(s) and co-ordinate teammembers such that customer demands in terms of time, cost and quality are met. To obtain the required resources from therelevant company resource managers.Responsibilities:1. Manage workload and priorities of team members to ensure that agreed objectives are met.2. Ensure production schedule that embodies customer demands and forecasts is raised and maintained. Conduct regularbriefings/meetings to raise issues for resolving.3. Maintain awareness of the condition of the customers KPI's, risk analysis, sales order book, work in progress and duedelivery dates, reporting deviations from the acknowledged plan to the customer. Responsible for reporting and makingrecommendations to senior management at the Customer Team Reviews.4. Manage customer expectations and perceptions.5. Acknowledge delivery dates to the customer in accordance with procedures and where necessary negotiate re-schedules.This necessitates obtaining lead times from engineering, buying and production.6. Introduce new customers, major projects and new products in accordance with company procedures.7. Maintain the sales forecast and S&OP spreadsheets. To ensure timely loading of orders, maintenance of works orders andrelated commercial activities.8. To raise and maintain team plans and functional plans.9. To carry out appropriate tasks to the benefit of the company.Authorities:The Team Leader has the authority to accept customer orders and commit to meeting delivery promises to their customer(s)within the scope of comany procedures.
