: Our client is a successful IT hardware supplier to businesses throughout the UK. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive at their sales headquarters based just south of Glasgow. Reporting to the Commercial Manager the main aim of the role will be to create, develop, and maintain a database of profitable client accounts, exceed gross profit forecasts agreed with the companys management, and make a demonstrable contribution to the companys overall sales and marketing objectives. Applicants must have a minimum of two years business to business marketing experience within a Technical industry. Previous experience of selling hardware, consumables and storage media products would be an advantage. Ideal candidates will be proactive, intuitive, tenacious, analytical, and well organised sales people who are self motivated and results driven. Other qualities required are honesty and integrity at all times when handling the companys! business. Key Responsibilities will be to: v Achieve and exceed forecasts. v Increase the companys Client accounts and proactively develop them by introducing and selling new products. v Secure new business for the company by profitably selling a range of IT products direct to clients. v Carry out required marketing activities in order to introduce the company, generate enquiries and raise relevant quotations. v Effectively market to new potential clients and convert them to new buying accounts. v Provide a first class account management service to prospects and customers. v Maintain and develop a contact management database using Microsoft Outlook. |
