: Opportunities now exist for both young graduates and highly experienced Engineers with knowledge of exhaust and ventilation to work on a cross section of varied and interesting projects. You will be involved with the carrying out of surveys of ventilation systems and the utilisation of results appropriately. Any experience of undertaking ventilation flow, pressure and temperature and related measurements on active ventilation systems in operating facilities would be helpful. Experience of one or more of the following areas would also be advantageous, but is not required: h Knowledge of design protocols for ventilation systems h Familiarisation with nuclear ventilation philosophies h Familiarisation with ventilation standards h Understanding of how ventilation data are used to support safety cases h Familiarity with appropriate operating parameters for Local Exhaust Ventilation systems and understanding of the requirements of the COSHH Regulations h Preparation of method statements, safety assessments, risk assessments and hazard identification h Experience of the design, installation and commissioning of ventilation systems h Familiarisation with the Pressure Systems Regulations.
