JOB DESCRIPTIONArea of Employment: buildJob Title: Build TechnicianReporting To: production control managerJob Purpose The final assembly of Civil Aircraft Landing GearQualification Requirements:Ideally applicants will have served an Aircraft related apprenticeship supported by further education. And/or Minimum offive years experience within a similar service industry.Emphasise placed upon those applicants that have served within aCAA/FAA/JAR approved organization. That demonstrates a detailed knowledge of the legislative and quality systemrequirements.Duties, Responsibilities and Authorization:The assembly of mechanical components and Installation of Hydraulic and Electrical systems to aircraft undercarriages andassociated hardware.Assembly being conducted in line with all OEM, legislative, and Industry requirements providing right first time, qualityprimary structural aircraft products.Associated duties include: Management of consumable items. Ensuring the correct functioning of the quality infrastructure. inspection/duplicate inspection of completed assemblies/sub assemblies. liaison with associated departments. precise work scheduling. All duties shall be undertaken in compliance with Safety and Environmental Regulations and Company ProceduresAll duties being performed both on an individual basis and as part of a small team meeting tight deadlines utilizing asafe methodical working practice.
