: This large organisation are a market-leading developer and supplier of communications and IT systems to public sector customers, with a particular emphasis on public safety, criminal justice and local government. They are currently looking for an experienced Bid Manager to take responsibility for the management of the bid process for a specific sales opportunity and the subsequent production of sales proposals. Working closely with the Sales Manager and Technical Consultants, your role will involve ensuring that all proposals are commercially sound and maximising the success of bids within the public safety marketplace, as well as presenting to clients. In order to succeed within this challenging role, a minimum of 2-4 years Bid Management experience is essential, managing the complete lifecycle of large bids and achieving successful outcomes. The ability to design cost and price models is important and a strong analytical and creative thought process will be essential. In addition, it is imperative that you have worked within the communications/ IT/ telecoms or radio industries. Experience of writing bids for the public sector would also be beneficial, but is non-essential. The salary for the role will be c. GBP 36-39K (depending on experience) plus good benefits. |
