: This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career within an international, leading player in the communications industry. You will become an integral part of the Bid & Quote team who drive the pre-sales process, producing bids from several million dollars to hundreds of million dollars, as well as providing business information, analysis and recommendations to Management. Your specific responsibilities will incorporate; Bid & Quote Management - understanding bid requirements, driving bid activities, highlighting business risks and making recommendations Competitive Intelligence - sourcing competitive strategies and technological developments and communicating this information to the business Management Competitive Positioning - recommending bid pricing and strategy based on competitive predictions The successful candidate will already have a minimum of three years experience working in a similar role for a multi-national blue chip. A strong technical aptitude is important and a technical knowledge of radio systems (PMR, GSM) or Tetra is essential. The role will suit a strong communicator, who is used to driving tasks and liasing with senior level management. One or more languages other than English would be advantageous, but non-essential. The salary will be c. GBP 40K plus bonus, good benefits package. Excellent scope for career progression exists.
