Description:

The contractor will be using Madymo and/or DYNA software to carry out analysis and development of frontal occupantrestraint systems, including bags, belts, steering column, and bolsters. The work will be carried out as part of a team,but will require the engineer to contribute pro-actively to the analytical and development activities. Liaison with arange of other functional areas will be necessary. The engineer may be required to work at 2 sites, depending onprogramme requirements. Skills Required: Madymo v5x and v6x, and/or DYNA, in the vehicle occupant restraint systemenvironment. Familiarity with relevant dummy models and with legislative requirements. ARS mapping programme. Use of testdata to validate simulation models. Experience Required: Minimum 2 years experience in the following areas.
