A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Corporate Banking Relationship team. Corporate Banking, Southampton is an established regional office with a reputation in the market place for quality of service, speed of response and innovation.The portfolios consist of a mix of publicly quoted and private corporate businesses, including leveraged transactions, spanning a wide range of sectors. Business development is a key focus for the team and the successful candidate will be expected to identify opportunities from both the existing customer base and through professional contacts made. To provide support for the Director of Corporate Banking in the management of a portfolio of c30 corporate connections, including financial analysis and liaising closely with customers to enhance relationships and add value. In addition the successful applicant will be involved in the sourcing and development of new business opportunities, taking transactions from the initial approach through credit to drawdown and ensuring an ongoing relationship with the client going forward.A strong team player with good interpersonal skills and considerable commitment to delivery for both Bank and customer, the successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Corporate Banking in developing relationships with existing customers and professional contacts. The position offers suitable candidates the opportunity to develop and build on existing strengths Experience required -Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people of all levels of an organisation, both internally and externally Good marketing and Networking skills. High level of flexibility and motivation. Strong team working skills. Display a high commitment to customer care.
