: This is an exciting opportunity to join the merchandising team of the most successful multi-product retailer in the UK within their fast expanding non-food area. You will be involved in making crucial commercial decisions relating to your product category, by sales forecasting and controlling stock movement to provide efficient customer service. Your main responsibilities will include: Forecasting of sales, stock and markdown to manage the Buyer's spend. . Monitor and ensure validity of the critical path with suppliers to ensure on-time availability. . Maintaining the delivery schedule to control stock into the depot. Markdown modelling and implementation. Completing appropriate department analysis. Agreeing delivery and allocation plans with the Allocations team To succeed in this role you will need strong communication and problem solving skills, a good eye for detail, and a real ambition to succeed. You will be a graduate, ideally with a business or numerical based degree, and have a minimum of 12 - 18 months merchandising or allocating experience. Previous experience of WSSIs is essential and any exposure to managing 'okay to buy' would be highly advantageous.
