Description:

My client, a top accountancy firm, is looking for a super Assistant to join their corporate team. The role: *To provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Internal Legal Services Group, supporting senior level executives/lawyers. *To provide support as necessary to the International Counsel, Global Director of Internal Legal Services in the absence of their Executive Assistant. *Management and updating the diaries of Legal Team members including arranging appointments, scheduling conference calls and meetings, organising travel and accommodation and preparing full itineraries. *Sort and screen incoming post and emails for the Legal Team and flag key actions and issues to the relevant team member. *Maintain hard and soft filing systems for the Legal Team. Keep filing system and filings up to date. *Develop and maintain information and protocols for key administrative matters related to Legal Team (e.g. Contact lists etc. as requested). *Maintain and update key information/documents relating to the organisation, e.g. structure and area charts, organisational documents etc. *Process management of documentation, chasing execution of documents. Preparation and revision of legal documentation, correspondence and memos.*Trademark registration support & liaising with trademark counsel & other counsel regarding application, powers of attorney, etc. *Legal documents database liaison, research, data uploading and searching, etc.*Assistance in preparation of presentations. *Assist in the creation and administration of intranet website for Legal Team. The candidate:*Educated to a minimum of A Level standard with min C grade passes in English & Maths. *Copy typing of 50wpm+, together with an advanced knowledge of Word and Powerpoint and intermediate knowledge of Excel. Lotus Notes would be an advantage. *Min 5 yrs experience working with a senior team in a fast moving environment. *Experience in a legal environment is an advantage. *Strong organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise an often conflicting workload - extensive experience of managing a hectic schedule essential. *Ability to plan ahead and anticipate potential problems. *Ability to provide regular reporting on progress on admin matters. *Able to deal confidently with internal and external clients at all levels.*Excellent standard of written and spoken English.
