Due to winning some large tenders thecompany is now seeking to expand their large asbestos surveying team They are keen to recruit several Asbestos Surveyorswith at least 3 months surveying experience to join their team in East Kilbride office.. Their Asbestos Contracts aremainly in the Lanarkshire region, although some surveys will be outside the region.Candidates will require as a minimum qualification, the British institute of Occupational Hygienists (BIOH) proficiencyin Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos (P402)Candidates will be expected to carry out Asbestos surveying, sampling and reporting (including use of databases). As anAsbestos surveyor for the company you will carry out any of the three survey types as a way to effective management. Youwill make sure that any material is precisely found and identified, ensuring that the client is not exposed eitherphysically or legally at some future date. Using a site audit you would then work on a risk assessment withrecommendations to do with safety and compliance. Depending on the material's condition and site occupation factors youwill either advise that it is simply made safe and labelled, properly repaired or removed altogether.In return the company offers a competitive salary, training and company car, so a full UK driving license is required.Future Select specialise in recruiting staff in the Asbestos Industry.
