Our client distributes forklift trucks, popular counter balance and warehouse narrow aisle equipment throughout Great Britain, Ireland and selected European countries. Sales, casual and long-term hire, parts and service is provided by a chain of independently owned dealers - dependent on local users to ensure personalised attention. The advantages are that, unlike national organisations, you know each other and you are key users with immediate access to the 100% decision-takers. Due to a new focus on growing their substantial market share they are looking to recruit a sales person to specialise in sales of forklifts, cranes and fully automated equipment to be used in warehouses. This company is constantly investing in research and development and has a reputation that is second to none in the market place. Due to the launch of a new product there is an opening for an Area Manager. This individual will be selling the product across sectors such as FMCG, Pharma/Biotech and Manufacturing to name a few. You should have a proven track record in selling handling equipment for at least 4 years. They also seek a polished, consultative, well-presented sales person who can deal with people on all levels from operations to board level. For the right person fast track promotion is possible to the role for Director. Remuneration will be by way of base salary of GBP 25 35K, car allowance and commission scheme with an OTE of GBP 50 - 55K. Opportunities like this are rare.
