Description:

A large multi disciplinary Practice is currently seeking a Senior Architect to manage and carry out the design ofarchitectural projects including:1. Delivery of projects within programme and cost constraints.2. Responsibility for technical content / quality of project deliverables.3. Preparing feasibility studies.4. Preparation of reports and specifications.5. Assist with the preparation of contract documents.6. Management of external sub-consultants and contractors.7. Supervision of junior architects and technicians.The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work on his / her own initiative for an internal clientas well as undertaking the role of architect on a variety of projects working with both internal multi-disciplinarydesign teams and external design organisations. The candidate must be prepared to travel overseas on short-termassignments. The candidate should be a fully qualified registered architect (ARB) and have at least 10 years experiencein the design and management of architectural works. A good working knowledge of all environment design codes of practiceand Construction Regulations is required. Experience in the use of overseas design codes would be an advantage, althoughnot essential. The candidate should have very strong graphic skills and be AutoCAD proficient. Must have design flair andthe ability to creatively resolve problems, undertake project design and have a commitment to explore and promote newapproaches to design solutions.
