: A first class opportunity for a very experienced Field Engineer with many years of hands on experience to join this growing Scottish company which has an excellent reputation for the speed of their design and the quality of their manufacturing. They are currently seeking an Applications Engineer with both knowledge and practical experience of Field Operations using a whole range of Downhole equipment to provide expert technical and operational advice, guidance and support; facilitating all departments to meet their respective objectives in an effective and efficient manner. You will ensure that all technical and operational aspects of external and internal sales enquiries are thoroughly and rigorously assessed; in particular, to allow sales personnel to create meaningful quotations and generate orders that are technically competent and commercially viable. You will be required to identify and formulate new solutions or apply existing solutions to meet Customer requirements, devise, specify and detail Sales Enquiries to allow effective and comprehensive Quotations to be prepared and submitted and prepare or direct the preparation of product concepts or layouts of possible solutions for review by the Technical Director and/or the appropriate member of the sales team. You will also check and approve sales drawings for inclusion in quotations. This position calls for a highly trained graduate level Mechanical Engineer.
