Description:

The successful candidate will have good verbal communication skills, be well-motivated and able to work and self-learnwith others in a small project team that operates in a dynamic environment. Candidates should be keen to learn and carryout research independently and share knowledge to help the team deliver effective solutions.The candidate will be responsible for building web-based solutions according to a given specification using our in-houseapplication and MS SQL. Part of the role will entail liaising with team members including consultants, trainers andproject managers as well as some direct customer communication to clarify and develop customer requirements.You will have a good knowledge of MS SQL and will have done some programming in or had exposure to HTML, Javascript and/or VB.net. Any experience in database design and web site design would be an advantage or use of database applicationssuch as MS Access.The successful candidate will demonstrate a good logical mind and a willing to help with telephone support when necessaryand develop an understanding of the companys legacy products whilst the company migrates these customers to newsolutions.Other skills required:Attention to detailAbility to learn independentlyAbility to communicate effectively internally and externallyKeenness to expand role and gain new skills within software development
