Description:

Application / Software Support Analyst required by our Crawley, West Sussex based client to play an effective, efficient and proactive role within their Technical Services Department. To be considered for this role you will have experience of dealing with support calls direct from users on software applications, being prepared to investigate the causes (software not running, print not being produced where/when expected, slow response times, data errors etc). This would ideally be complemented with experience on deploying and supporting multi-tier, internet facing software applications using SQL Server & Oracle databases. Some experience of PL/SQL or T-SQL is essential, particularly in building, copying, backup/recovery, simple SQL. Experience of triggers & stored procedures would be a bonus as would general Network skills and exposure gained in a customer support environment.
