Description:

To work as part of a 2 person team providing senior level planning, development and administration of a 1,500 unit estateof Apple computers used in a fast-paced publishing environment. Emphasis is on proactive management of the estate toensure security, reliability and ease of use in a locked down, Workgroup managed configuration. Development of Applerelated Scripting and applications is required to enable clinical estate control, configuration and maintenance.Responsibility extends through the entire gamut of editorial desktop configuration including the OS, infrastructuretie-in, desktop applications and their related configuration (eg colour management). Strong documentation is essential.This role also provides detailed technical resource as a 4th line support function.
