Good communication skills are essential.Job Purpose & ResponsibilitiesWe are now looking for an Active Directory Security Analyst to join our Security Operations team, which will form part ofthe Services Support Organisation within the NHS Service Unit.The NHS National Programme for IT (NPfIT) was launched by the Department of Health in June 2002 with central plans tomodernise the UK health service through IT. Accenture has been awarded a contract to help the NHS improve healthcare forpatients in the North East and East of England. Under the agreement, Accenture will lead a team of technology companiesthat will install, configure and integrate the information system to support patient care and services in localcommunities.As an Active Directory Security Analyst you will provide security related technical support within the organisation andwill be responsible for maintaining technical security standards and settings across the engagement infrastructure.The main responsibilities will include: Active Directory housekeeping and health checking Group Policy Object development, implementation and support Group management and access control including security delegation ADSI/WMI and general scripting activities Schema Changes and FSMO roles DNS Administration and troubleshooting Log file analysis and event correlation Distributed file system administration and related security Security incident response Identifying and managing the mitigation of security vulnerability in the estate. Release planning, testing and maintenance of the security infrastructure components Monitoring and reporting on security vulnerabilities across the infrastructure. .
