Account Manager/ Technical SalespersonAn excellent opportunity for someone looking to make excellent money in a lively office based technical sales role. Therole does not involve cold calling as the company has continuous customer enquiries. The company is growing fast and as aresult a successful candidate will have an opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and benefit from an uncappedcommission package.This role will suit a person who enjoys learning, building relationships with customers and has an interest in science,manufacturing, engineering or IT. Ideally youll have 1 years experience in a sales environment selling technicalservices or products, however candidates with less experience will be considered, and training will be provided. You mustenjoy working to targets and will benefit from a commission structure that rewards performance. The role requires a highlevel of motivation, time management and an ability to solve problems and influence customer thinking. You will spendyour day on the phone making at least 20 calls a day to customers around the world.However you will need to be energetic and organised enough to build and maintain a pipeline of 30-50 ongoingopportunities so that you can close 2-3 sales per week. You will need the confidence to ask difficult questions, tosuggest imaginative solutions and to discuss concepts with customers who may be more knowledgeable than you. You willneed the resilience to overcome customer setbacks and rejections.The company is growing fast and as a result a successful candidate will have an opportunity to take on increasingresponsibility and benefit from an uncapped commission package.Primary roleso To respond to customers enquiries received by e mail and telephoneo To build the customers confidence by explaining the benefits of dealing with the companyo To build a detailed understanding of customer requirement and identify the potential benefit to the company.o To probe the customer to find his target priceo To develop the customer quotation working with the internal company teamo To prepare response information/ quotationo To Build customer the relationship, manage ongoing queries/ customer educationo To identify roadblocks to orders and solve the problemo To negotiate in contract terms when requiredo To receive orders from the customero To act as the commercial contact during the delivery of the projecto To obtain repeat orders and sell other MotionTouch services and productso To enter information throughout the process on the Goldmine CRM databaseSecondary Roles1. To provide input into the product/ service development process:To monitor customer interests in all products and servicesTo identify new potential service and product opportunitiesTo work with the development team to evaluate new product potential2. To take part in other office activity as the company may require.3. To provide training for staff on the products and services in your business area.Required Skills1. Ideally 1 years experience in technical sales (not essential)2. Excellent English3. Good telephone manner4. Ability to talk to and make friends with a wide variety of people5. Must know Microsoft Office, Internet6.
