I. Position SummaryThe Account Manager is responsible for selling Product Portfolio, Digital Mobile Video Recording solutions mainly to thepublic transport sector and possibly to OEM manufacturer of Rail & Bus of the UK market.II. Principal Duties:1. Execute the Companys sales strategies and achieve established sales quota by identifying business opportunitiesthrough account prospecting and profiling2. Thoroughly assess the customers needs and present an appropriate sales solution to assist the customer in recognisingthe technological and business need for my clients products and the advantages3. Provide effective sales presentations/product demonstrations to prospective customer management, including hostingCompany site visits if necessary. Must be able to work along side my clients channel partners.4. Communicate at every level within the organisation both externally and internally5. Produce highest standard of written and verbal presentations6. Prepare appropriate sales order paperwork to ensure purchase order reflects appropriate configuration/ solution forthe customer.7. Manage the order process through established internal acceptance procedures to ensure sign-off by Sales, Productionand Installation Departments.8. Provide the sales management team with accurate and timely reporting of activities including weekly and monthly salesforecasts, the status of the sales pipeline and results of prospecting activities.9. Provide routine updates to the Companys sales database with account activity and status.10. Maintain a thorough on-going knowledge of my customers products and technology, as well as industry trends.11. Provide ad hoc reports and performs assigned projects as needed.12. Monitor your specific sectors and keep the Sales Director informed about legal, cultural and economic conditions thatmight effect the Companys operations in the given market.III. Leadership and ResponsibilityMust work in virtual team and lead other parts of business including Channel Management, Pre-sales, Project and Servicemanagement.IV. Knowledge & Skill Requirements1. Exceptional professional presentation and communication skills2. Ability to listen and articulate effectively3. Must have proven sales experience in a similar High Touch role4. Excellent negotiation and closing skills with the proven ability to qualify prospects from both an operational andfinancial standpoint5. Preferred knowledge of the mobile CCTV market place, digital recording techniques and Data experience ideally with IP.IV. Physical RequirementsV.
